SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Venture into the Wild Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") begins at 12:00 AM Eastern Time ("ET") on August 16, 2019 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on November 2, 2019 ("Sweepstakes Period").
ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (including the District of Columbia) who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older and have a valid driver's license as of the start of the Sweepstakes. Employees, officers, directors of Blue Buffalo Company, Ltd. ("Sponsor") Don Jagoda Associates, Inc. ("Administrator"), and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, retailers, advertising and promotion agencies and judging organizations (collectively with Sponsor and Administrator, the "Released Parties"), as well as their immediate family members (spouses, parents, children and siblings) and/or persons living under the same household are not eligible to enter. This Sweepstakes shall be construed and evaluated solely according to United States law and subject to federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. By entering, Entrants ("Entrants") acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules, including eligibility requirements.
HOW TO ENTER: During the Sweepstakes Period, Entrants can enter the Sweepstakes by visiting www.Wildsweeps.
RANDOM DRAWING/ODDS: There will be one (1) Grand Prize winner and five (5) First Prize winners selected from among all eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period on or about November 4, 2019. The random drawing will be conducted by the Administrator, an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning the Grand Prize depend on the total number of eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: The potential Grand Prize winner and potential First Prize winners (collectively, "Prize winners") will be notified on or about November 11, 2019 by the Administrator via phone and/or email and will be required to execute and return via mail, email or an email document link, an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability and Publicity Release form (where legal) within seven (7) days of notification attempt or their Entry may be disqualified and a potential alternate winner may be selected, time permitting. If potential Prize winner notification is returned as non-deliverable, or if the Entrant fails to return the required verification documents or respond within the required time frame, said Entrant may be disqualified. If a potential Prize winner is found to be ineligible or if they do not comply with the Official Rules, said Entrant will be disqualified. If an Entrant is disqualified for one of the reasons mentioned above, an alternate may be selected, time permitting. Each travel companion of each Grand Prize/First Prize winner must be 18 years of age or older at time of travel or the Prize winner must be the parent or legal guardian of travel companion. Each travel companion of each Prize winner (or winner/one of the travel companions as the parent or legal guardian of a minor travel companion) will be required to execute a Release of Liability and Publicity Release and return it via email to the Administrator prior to travel. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Released Parties to use Prize winners' name, Entry, pictures, footage (as defined below) and likeness for promotional purposes in any and all media throughout the Universe in perpetuity without further compensation except where prohibited by law.
GRAND PRIZE AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE ("ARV"): Grand Prize (1): The Grand Prize winner will receive a 2019 Jeep® Wrangler Rubicon [Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price ("MSRP"): USD$60,000, excludes tax, license, registration, destination charge and options] ("Jeep") that will be awarded to winner while on the trip and a 4-day/3-night trip for winner and three (3) travel companions to Yellowstone National Park between June 15, 2020 and September 15, 2020. Trip includes round trip economy class air transportation for winner and three (3) travel companions from major airport closest to winner's home to destination, three (3) nights' hotel accommodations (one room, quad occupancy), entrance for winner and travel companions to Yellowstone Park, a Sponsor-specified private Yellowstone tour, and use of a rental SUV for duration of trip (collectively, "Grand Prize Trip"). The ARV of the complete Grand Prize is $67,300.
Grand Prize winner must accept Jeep "as is" as there may be some mileage/use associated with Jeep being transported to Grand Prize Trip location. All Jeep details are at Sponsor's discretion. The depiction of the Jeep in any advertising or promotional materials may not reflect the actual vehicle the Grand Prize winner will receive. Sponsor will determine all features of Jeep including, but not limited to, color of exterior and interior, and all other features or upgrades will not be permitted. Grand Prize winner must be a U.S. licensed driver and will be required to provide proof of valid U.S. driver's license and legally-required insurance at time of delivery and otherwise meet all eligibility requirements contained in these Official Rules. Grand Prize winner will receive their Jeep during Yellowstone trip. Grand Prize winner may also have the opportunity to drive the Jeep during various portions of the trip at Sponsor's discretion. Grand Prize winner is responsible for title, applicable taxes (including without limitation any incremental income taxes and any sales tax), license, registration, dealer preparation costs, auto insurance and other fees associated with prize. Sponsor shall not have any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any property loss, damage, personal injury, or death, in connection with the prize provided pursuant to the Sweepstakes and/or any person's participation in the Sweepstakes. Grand Prize winner must take delivery of prize during the Yellowstone Trip as designated by Sponsor and Sponsor will subsequently ship the Jeep to the winner's home after the Grand Prize Trip within 2-4 weeks thereafter. Sponsor shall not be responsible for delays in delivery of the Jeep. Grand Prize winner shall bear all risk of loss or damage to the Jeep after it has been delivered to the Grand Prize winner. Grand Prize winner may also be requested to complete additional forms as requested by the entity providing the vehicle purchase in order to claim their prize. The Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Jeep with a cash equivalent equal to the approximate cost in the event the Jeep is unavailable.

Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions are permitted, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize (or portion of prize) of equal or greater value, if prize, or portion of prize, becomes unavailable. No cash redemption of prizes, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of each winner. Each winner is responsible for any and all incremental income taxes resulting from the total value of the applicable prize. Grand Prize Trip and First Prize Trips will be henceforth referred to as "Prize Trips". Prize Trips must be taken on Sponsor-specified dates, in Summer 2020, or prize will be forfeited. Certain restrictions may apply. Airline tickets are for travel from major airport in the 50 United States, including its territories, and D.C., from airport nearest winner's home to destination. All other expenses and costs, not expressly listed above, including, but not limited to, airline baggage fees, taxes, tips, entertainment, transfers, and transportation to airport to and from the winner's home residence are the winner's sole responsibility. Prize winners will be required to provide a valid major credit card or some other acceptable form of payment, as determined in the hotel's sole discretion upon hotel check-in and all in-room charges, telephone calls, meals, beverages, hotel upgrades, amenities, personal incidentals and any other expenses charged to the winner's hotel room will be charged to that major valid credit card. Sponsor is not responsible for any fees or additional charges resulting from a winner's or travel companion's change to itinerary or accommodations. Accommodations are subject to availability. No refunds or credit for changes are allowed. Car rental is subject to additional restrictions set forth by car rental contract. If Prize winners do not meet rental car requisites/requirements, that portion of the prize will not be awarded and no additional compensation will be provided. Car must be returned with a full tank of gas. The Prize winners and their respective travel companions must possess valid travel documents (i.e., valid government issued photo ID) in order to travel. A 1099 tax statement will be filed with the IRS for the actual total value of the prize for each Prize winner. The Prize winners will receive a 1099 form in the mail, to be processed in the year in which they receive the prize. Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a background check on the Grand Prize winner and reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify the Entrant based on the results of such background check, if Sponsor determines in its sole discretion that awarding a prize to such Entrant might reflect negatively on Sponsor. Factors that would result in disqualification as an Entrant include, without limitation, any Entrant having been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor, being delinquent on a government ordered payment, such as child support, spousal support, alimony, tax payments, etc. In the event any Prize winner or their travel companions engages in behavior that (as determined by Sponsor in Sponsor's sole discretion) is inappropriate or threatening, illegal or that is intended to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the trip early, in whole or in part, and send the Prize winner and/or travel companion(s) home with no further compensation to the Prize winner. Yellowstone National Park will be subject to security and other policies and Prize winners and travel companions must comply with such policies at all times or else may be required to leave, at Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor may take videos and/or photos at Prize Trips ("Footage") and by accepting prize, Prize winners agree that Sponsor may edit and use that Footage or portions of the Footage in any way they see fit.
GENERAL RULES: By participating in this Sweepstakes, each Entrant/Prize winner/travel companion (or parent/legal guardian of a minor travel companion) agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of the Released Parties, which are final and legally binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes which may limit the ability of an individual to participate in or accept a prize in the Sweepstakes, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the Entries in this Sweepstakes. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for any typographical error in the printing of these Official Rules, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prizes. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for damages to user's system occasioned by participating in the Sweepstakes or downloading any information to participate in the Sweepstakes. DISPUTE RESOLUTION: By entering this Sweepstakes, Entrants agree that 1) Any and all disputes, claims, and of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes or the prizes shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; 2) Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, and shall not include any punitive, consequential or other damages, including costs associated with entering the Sweepstakes and in no event include attorneys' fees; 3) The value of the prizes as set forth above represents Sponsor's good faith determination of the ARV in its sole and absolute discretion thereof and such determinations are final and binding and cannot be appealed. If the actual value of the prizes turns out to be less than the stated ARV, the difference will not be awarded in cash; and 4) Under no circumstances will any Entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and Entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. NO WAIVER: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. Sponsor may take videos and/or photos at Prize Trips ("Footage") and by accepting prize, Prize winners agree that Sponsor may edit and use that Footage or portions of the Footage in any way they see fit.
GENERAL RULES: By participating in this Sweepstakes, each Entrant/Prize winner/travel companion (or parent/legal guardian of a minor travel companion) agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of the Released Parties, which are final and legally binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected Entries, technical hardware/software failures of any kind, lost/unavailable network connections, or failed/incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission, which may limit a user's ability to participate. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the Entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or Website; violates the Official Rules; or acts in a disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE; SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Entrants/Prize winner/travel companions (or parent/legal guardian of a minor travel companion), hereby disclaim any rights, including any copyright or any other intellectual property right, in or to the Entry and/or Footage following the assignment contemplated hereby. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes which may limit the ability of an individual to participate in or accept a prize in the Sweepstakes, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the Entries in this Sweepstakes. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for any typographical error in the printing of these Official Rules, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prizes. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for damages to user's system occasioned by participating in the Sweepstakes or downloading any information to participate in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to modify or cancel any of the portions of the Sweepstakes if they become technically corrupted. In such event, Sponsor would select the Prize winners from among all eligible Entries received prior to cancellation.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION: By entering this Sweepstakes, Entrants agree that 1) Any and all disputes, claims, and of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes or the prizes shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; 2) Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, and shall not include any punitive, consequential or other damages, including costs associated with entering the Sweepstakes and in no event include attorneys' fees; 3) The value of the prizes as set forth above represents Sponsor's good faith determination of the ARV in its sole and absolute discretion thereof and such determinations are final and binding and cannot be appealed. If the actual value of the prizes turns out to be less than the stated ARV, the difference will not be awarded in cash; and 4) Under no circumstances will any Entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and Entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All dispute resolution shall be made by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. These Official Rules shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Connecticut without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the state of Connecticut. Any legal proceedings arising out of this Sweepstakes or relating to these Official Rules shall be instituted only in the federal or state courts located in the state of Connecticut, and the parties' consent to jurisdiction therein with respect to any legal proceedings or disputes of whatever nature arising under or relating to these Official Rules.
NO WAIVER: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
PRIVACY POLICY: Any personal information that an Entrant provides in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be used by Sponsor and Administrator to administer this Sweepstakes, contact Entrants, and for the other purposes set forth in the Sponsor's privacy policies located at https://bluebuffalo.com/privacy-policy/. By entering the Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to and accept that privacy policy. If Entrant authorizes, by opting in, Sponsor may provide Entrant with information relating to products, services and promotions of the Sponsor and affiliates of Sponsor.
