They will work in those devices if you rub them very hard with a rag soaked in high percentage alcohol. It takes the coating off

I bought a pack of Energizers for my PC but I only needed one. They last a decade in storage (at least the name brands, don't know about generic one), I didn't realize it works in other things like remotes too. It's $5 for just one if you buy at CVS or Walgreens.

I recently had some of these with the bitter coating. It actually affected some of the connectivity between the device and the battery. I might have just have had a bad batch, but just a heads up for anyone else.

I don't have any complaints about the 2032's I get at the Dollar Tree but these Duracells are probably longer lasting.

Also had issues with these in the past with AirTags, but now they specifically show they work with them.
