No thanks. I was burned by AT&Ts grandfathered promo for Directv Now. Had a clause that basically said they could raise the rate when they wanted to.

5G won't have as much coverage area as LTE because of higher frequency band. We will have spots for 5G initially and then slowly cover block, street, town, city, state, and then whole country. Don't think because you hear 5G a lot means we are there, it's a really long roadmap which will take at least 3-4 years.

Mine DirectvNow went up just $5 and I have every channel they offer for $40. And I got a free Apple TV. There is nothing for me to complain about.

I'm a very techy guy but I don't understand why i would need this or others.
I just use my Hotspot on my phone if i need wifi connectivity and i have a Tablet i pay 10 and month to be on my unlimited data plan.

Is it because i could just use my apps on entertainment unit (Like MyLink) without using my phone? Not saying it's a bad deal but what is the main use for using built in wifi, enlighten me.
Several uses... I have my dash cam hooked up to it so I can view my trucks cameras no matter where it's parked. Also for the kids non cell iPads and chromebooks.

You hardly got burned. They were very transparent from launch that the price of the service was not guaranteed. The $25 discount was...but the service could go up at any time.

The antenna on a vehicle is much more powerful that the one in your pocket. If you're in a rural area this may be a helpful

If you have great service and don't see any issue with using hotspot this isnt for you.

Is the antenna in the Spark much more powerful than the one in a smartphone (or, just as powerful as the vehicle antenna)?

Also I haven't seen any widespread anecdotal proof that it is definitely possible to get the $15 unlimited deal even if using the Spark.

Is there an option to pay for months that I need or will use and not to pay (ie suspend service) for the months I don't need? I heard some at&t plans will cancel after 60 days of non payment.

none really unless you already get close to the data cap
"unlimited" and "data cap" don't really belong in the same sentence...

Subsidized by GM then? Seems an odd choice anyway as most cars out there with hotspots are not GM
