$89.99 MS Office 365 Home 15 months for 6 users
https://www.costco.com/.product.100462462.html
FWIW, I use this mostly for storage--you get 6TB for 15 months for only $89.99.
The only downside is that you have to create different OneDrive accounts (i.e. you can't combine the storage into one 6TB account). So I have OneDrive backup accounts for our photos and videos, FLACs and MP3s; blu-rays; and PC drive images, etc.
You can buy up to 3 of these.

I used the stand-alone products and still do, but the 6TB for $90 a year (or even 15 months) is a great value for me.
I am not convinced of the the safety and security of Office 365. It is one vulnerability away from a shit storm of a disaster. Companies will go bankrupt over night if trade secrets are leaked. Peoples lives will be over turned over night. This software as a service model is doomed.
Not sure what you're talking about here, so I can't comment.

It's just to get people to pay annually vs 1 time on 1 PC that you would otherwise lose the license if you had to reinstall the OS.

subscriptions are rarely slick
Create separate a/c. Now on that a/c create a folder and then share the folder with the primary a/c.
Now the primary ac will have full read write access on the secondary a/c folder (full 1 TB). You can do this for all the the rest of secondary a/c.
I also read this on google and did it once, so plz google for the right steps.

So, subscription can make sense in this instance. Now Office 365 for businesses is limited to one subscription per user. I think getting the perpetual version there is often a better choice. But this home edition is a different value. The slick deal is that Amazon had the subscription for $59 during BF. That's $10/year when split among the 6 people.
