Quick Edit: I'll probably still be skipping due to being USB 3.0 and all of my most recent machines having 3.2 (3.1 Gen 2). Unless someone more knowledgeable (at least than me at 2am) knows this doesn't matter with SATA 3?

In short, no need to go higher than 5Gbps for enclosures that don't use NVMe, even if you use RAID 0 on 4 drives.
