The switch that doesn't switch at all.

The more concerning thing are the controllers. The joycons have a known defect where their analog sticks start 'drifting' or giving phantom inputs. Unfortunately, early teardowns of the Lite show them using the same faulty parts in the Lite's controllers.

This sucks, but at least on the Switch, you can repair the controllers without taking the whole system apart, and you can sometimes get Nintendo to repair the joycons as well. With the Lite you'd need to send them your whole system. You also can't just buy replacement controllers.

Better off buying regular Switch. At least you only need one copy of the game.

Less than 1 inch and we called this tiny?? 6.2 Regular vs 5.5 Lite version at this price not bad at all if you didn't own one but $150 will be killer price but i guess price will stay for month like that since is the high end on nintendo portable device

There are quite a few games that do this. I believe Mario Maker, Mario Party, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, and Mario Kart wants to use two copies as well. Before Mario Party launched, there was a trailer showcasing mini-games where you would utilize two Nintendo Switches. My fiance and I have our own Nintendo Switch consoles, but we can't play those various mini-games because we only have one copy of Mario Party...

Unless you really can't come up with another $100 I don't see what the Switch lites appeal is. You can't play it on your tv so technically it's not even a Switch at all. It's just a portable gaming console and the original has some key features that the lite lacks. It's basically more like the next generation of the 3ds because imo other than the shape of the console and the games it just can't come close to the greatness of the original.
