I'm not sure if this is the correct way to post but I was at Petco today (in Texas) planning to get a basic 10 gallon tank and an employee told me that I should wait because they would be starting their $1 per gallon sale this Sunday. I thought I would share in case it helps anyone!

Petco has a big sale on their basic Aqueon glass aquariums once every few months. It's a good time to get tanks, especially the larger ones because they are normally exponentially more expensive as they get bigger. I think the last time they held this sale the 1$ per gallon applied to 10-29 gallon tanks and the bigger 40, 45 and 75 gallon tanks were half off. Hope that helps!

Nope, black friday I believe I have seen 125 with stand for around $350 I want to say.

Not a super durable stand I imagine, but will suffice.

Usually craigslist you are doing pretty good to get an aquarium of that size used for $1 a gallon. Large tanks are exponentially more expensive because the materials are a lot more expensive. Thicker glass etc. Acrylic really adds up the costs quick.
