Bestbuy has marked FACTORY UNLOCKED Moto phones down again with new Verizon and Sprint lines. Ya gotta be willing to take a hard credit pull and cancel the new line within 3 days. These deals work much better in-store!!!!! The Z3 is $99.99 and the 64gb G7 is $129.99. I've done this twice with Verizon service and have had zero problems. All you pay for is the phone and a credit card is not required. Most people are scared of these deals cuz of the hard credit pull and they can't understand that these are FACTORY UNLOCKED PHONES. You don't have to pay any Verizon fees including the activation fee if you cancel within the first 3 days. Besides purchasing the phone, you DO NOT PAY ANYTHING UPFRONT.

I have dozens of those!
NM I see these are unlocked.

1) BestBuy is in new iPhone hell at the moment... if you have any issues it takes a ton of time to get things fixed (if you order online). Their service is great once you get someone, but it does take a while. Do this instore if you can.
2) If you do it online, they pre-activate the phone before shipping. This means you have no time to cancel the phone before being charged. I got one phone on day 4, so they billed me a $12 prorated charge when I cancelled. Easy enough to have removed by calling them, but you do have to do it. That said, cancellation via Verizon online chat was simple.
3) The phone is a very good mid-range phone. For 95% of the people out there, it will be more than enough. Quite fast, camera is good, wifi and bluetooth are solid. Almost no Motorola software installed.
4) You're going to want a case. Like all glass bodied phones, it's quite slippery.
5) Fingerprint reader is on the right side. Good location but takes some getting used to as it's where the power button is on many phones.
6) No headphone jack, USB-C only.
7) It ships with Oreo... took quite a while to do all of the Android security updates and the Pie upgrade. Adapter is included.
8) It's a hard credit pull on Experian. I view my credit score as a tool to make/save money, so worth it for me (it was a 9 point hit on 800+, so who cares).

Great info. Didn't know 9 points was a hard pull. Was thinking 4-5 at most. 9 for some1 at lower end of 800 could cause them to move to a lower credit tier.
