These are high quality ones. At times I'll go got the cheaper ones and they last about three seasons of fishing in the Pacific Northwest.

Simms used to back up their products - I had a light weight rain jacket fall apart from the inside out ... bought it because they were know for warranty. They told me it wasn't made any more....and they could give me half off their full price line..... WTF? I told them their product was faulty which is why they don't produce it any longer and making me buy another one of their items was unreasonable $$$ .... I found a Patagonia rain jacket for less than their offer and Patagonia backs up their gear. Buyer beware of SIMMS $$$$

C'mon, no comparison there, frog toggs are garbage to begin with, and a 20 pair of slickers don't come close to comparing to something with Gore-Tex.

If you don't fish in the rain, or are limited on funds it's one thing, but a good waterproof bib is worth it

Thanks - really great deal. Tempted to get it. Usually use my Arcteryx Alpha SV for fishing, but this would be nice too and would not care when it gets dirty as much. My favorite Simms is the ProDry, but never see that go on sale.

How would the Transom compare to the ProDry? Simms makes great stuff! Surprised this is on sale for such a good price. Maybe they are closing it out? Could not find any user reviews on these either.

Lol, frog toggs.... Maybe if you fish in a light rain once a year, maybe. I watch so many people try them and end up soaked because of their pricing and tips them in the trash. Just the comparison alone speaks volumes in lack of rain wear experience
