Yesterday was Saturday, when target usually ends their sales. Today is Sunday, when new promos start. Having higher individual prices while there's an overall discount/coupon going is common retail practice. You calling it a scam is just bitter.

Depends if it was on sale and the sale ended. For me it works out great. The toy I was tracking was $99. And today, the sale also started. it was lowered to $89. So plus the -25% off and -5% red card. I only paid $65 (before tax). Almost 35% off original price

That's how sales work. One ends and the next begins.

Check the LEGO sale they have going on right now; lots of Star Wars/Friends/LEGO Movie 2 kits are included.

Sweet. I was waffling on picking up a Transformer set; if it's not excluded, this will make that totally worthwhile.
