Note*: this offer is best for people who have already upgraded to Ultimate using one of the recent offers and want to extend the life of their Ultimate subscription. I would not use it as my initial upgrade.
I noticed on the Taco Bell app there was an offer to receive 14 days of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for free with the online or in-app purchase of a $5 Double Chalupa Box. I purchased a $5 box and later received an email with a code I had to input to access the actual 14-day code. After getting the 14-day code, I went to my Xbox account on the microsoft website, put it in, and it offered me an extra full month for turning on recurring billing. I received the extra month for a total of 44 days, and then was free to turn off recurring billing.
I ordered another $5 box on the app a couple days later, and received another email with another code, so I redeemed that too and got the free month for turning on recurring billing. Grand total of 88 days of xbox game pass ultimate for ordering food I was going to order anyway.
It seems there's no limit to the codes you can receive as long as your $5 boxes are in separate online or in-app orders. Offer ends 11/23/19 at 8:59:59 PM PT.

Just to reiterate, this offer is best for people who have already upgraded to Ultimate by taking advantage of one of the recent offers. I personally purchased two brazilian 12 month xbox live gold codes from cdkeys for $37 each and used a VPN to apply those to my xbox account, got the extra free month for turning on recurring billing on each, then upgraded my account to Ultimate via the 1 month for $1 trial, and now after adding 88 days of Ultimate from this taco bell offer, my Ultimate subscription won't run out until Sept 30, 2022 all for a grand total of like $80.

It does not get nullified, in my experience. Every time I have agreed to it to get the extra free month (and I've done it several times with various codes over the years), it keeps the free month on there even after I immediately turned off recurring billing.
So this converted your gold into ultimate? Am I understanding that correctly?

Havent done it yet but it's easier to find 3, 1 yr gold or 6, 6 month golds for around the same total savings. Then this stacks on top of that.
Essentially OP is saying, take advantage of those first because doing this just once will disqualify you from the 1:1 conversion and gold alone can be found cheap enough.
