On November 9, Sam's Club is offering up to $400 back in the form of a Sam's Club gift card with an iPhone purchase. They are also offering an additional $250 gift card with select trade-in. Trade-in is not required to get the $400 gift card.
The following iPhones are eligible for the $400 gift card offer: iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR.
Offer eligible on installment agreement with AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon.
Full details are live at
https://www.samsclub.com/content/mobile-savings. Last year, Sam's offered a $300 gift card, so this reflects a $100 increase over last year.
In the past, my local store has had employees walk out at 6am and hand out appointment times to those in line. Note that this is before the store opens at 7, so you will want to be early to get the best selection. Supplies of the new flagships are historically quite limited.
In the past, Costco has matched this deal on the morning of the sale, but not announced the match in advance.

You can always hedge by going to Sams morning of one day sale and getting voucher for a time frame (for activation) on a later date like Wednesday so they honor one day sale pricing. Phone staff actually came outside at 6am (an hour before they opened) and wrote out the vouchers. They pull and hold your phone without taking deposit. They have to do this since they can't activate hundreds of phones on that day. You just have to come back anytime before that expiration honor date and time. And yes, you can transfer these vouchers to any other sams member. You are allowed up to 5 vouchers or phones per person per store.
I did this because I knew Costco would have a similar deal and they had better inventory, better return policy, and got some free items for purchasing there.
So, went to Sams. Got vouchers. Then went to Costco at 10am and deal was better. Gave sams vouchers to a friend. All was great.
Last, in most states, you will pay taxes on FULL price of phone. If bill credits are involved, you can put just enough money down on each phone to make sure you don't go over to try and break even. They can do math for you in store.
Use your sam's club gift cards at walmart to purchase a Visa gift card(only a few work), you need to look for those gift cards with a set amount like $200 the ones with the varying ranges do not work. I used to purchase them at the self check out without any questions, you lose the a $7.95 per $200 but you can then use the $200 visa card at your carrier to pay the device down.

not bad for iphone 11 if they give the 300$ gc.
If $300 I'll be jumping on it but how will that work.. Do we have to go into a payment plan or you can just pay the phone there with a CC and activate?
Don't mind the fees is just I don't want to be in a payment plan and want to have the full price on my AMEX for the extra year coverage.
thx
There are still details that are unknown. But the specific ad from Sam's Club has been posted and provides a good amount of information. At the time when I first looked the ad was pulled so I wasn't able to read the fine print. I made my first post without the awareness that it was back up. I should of looked there first before making my post. That was my mistake. I was not trying to offend anyone by asking. Like I said earlier, I'm still a novice and still trying to learn. But i really appreciate all the knowledge that this group has provided me.
Can this Sam's promo be stacked with carrier bill credits and other promos?
For eg, You pay $15/mo with sprint.
$400 instant GC plus $700 off with 18 month lease
Any info on this?

I'm not for sure with Sprint, since I have Verizon. But from reading the other comments on this post, I believe you can.

I've seen in the thread before that they could void the gift card, and that the phone wouldnt be unlocked unless you keep service for the 60 days
I am going to go by my Sam's and ask about this. I will be traveling on the 9th and probably cannot get to a store, but I could reserve and do it on Monday.
This has not been the case in the past, but I guess it could be possible. We'll need a few more data points on this one.
The settlement variance will be between the retailer like Sam/costco and the provider.
