I haven't read Gibson before, and reviews strongly suggest starting with Neuromancer.
I see those reviews, but I don't totally understand their point. This is a standalone book that isn't tied into Neuromancer or the other Sprawl books. It sounds to me like they're not specifically saying to start with Neuromancer, just that this one is especially dense if you're not used to his writing style.
gibby is a very gay author (happy gay not the other lol) ,I enjoy his upbeat attitude and highly recommend ,billy is amazing in his presentation and always presents happiness . In reality he is as gay in real life as he is in the books (or at least some lol) .I enjoyed a very upbeat conversation and had a few books autographed ,down to earth ,very gay composure and a fine gentlemen by all means at 2 beans this is a steal !! just say'inr

Yeah I don't think he can ever write a better book than Neuromancer. Not that his later work isn't good.
I feel Neal's best cyberpunk book is diamond age
