Saw these at the Fountain Valley store, but likely going on clearance across the stores.
Office Depot is clearing out their back to school scientific calculators, so a good time to use rewards money to get them even cheaper/free. (At $2 per ink cartridge recycled, easy way to get things free with kids burning through cartridges for homework.)
Prices are cheaper than current Amazon for the TI models, a few dollars more for the Casio (you can wait and check to see if they'll drop the clearance price, or if you're cozy with the manager for an override).
Naturally, these are new prices. Used on eBay/Craigslist often get you cheaper easily any day.
These are SAT/ACT approved models, so don't complain about how the $0.99 store has scientific calculators cheaper.
E.g.
TI30X IIs $7.92
TI34 Multiview $9.92
Casio FX-300ES Plus $13.49
Casio FX-991EX $19.99
Etc
Of the ones on display, the TI30X IIs is a solid, basic scientific with enough to get you to college. A step above with mini-spreadsheet feature and some advanced math are the Casios.
