Looks like a great deal, I will for sure give it a shot.

Cons:
  • 5ms delay. This is a negligible for vast majority of the players. And if you really need better, monitor has 1ms mode without FreeSync (in theory)
  • HDR is barely noticeable. But it is expected at this price-point
  • VA does not have the best viewing angles
Pros:
  • Supports FreeSync 2. It means that monitor supports AMD LFC, which supposed to help when framerate is below the FreeSync range (48-144Hz). On the other hand, it sounds like some monitors can actually go below the advertised 48Hz limit with some tinkering via CRU
  • 1440p, 144Hz which is the sweet spot with current GPU
  • 32 inch - great for movies, good for games. Just make sure you have enough room on your desk to move it farther away.
  • VA brings great contrast and colors
  • Fully adjustable stand
  • Costco return policy

The 10 series and later nvidia cards now can use the freesync , so they say gsync compatible. But monitor does not have a gsync module built in.

Before tax ;_; $325 with tax for the 650F vs. $270 for this Costco 850F.

I could return but the Microcenter is 3 hours away... (I bought the monitor on my way back home on a road trip).

I could use the "HDR" and Freesync 2 though on the 850F. Maybe I should just sell the 650F locally for $250 after buying the 850F.
