Always need to consider the transfer fee for balances transfers, and should be included in this post.

"There is a balance transfer fee of either $5 or 3% of the amount of each transfer, whichever is greater."
EDIT FROM MAY 2021-- THIS POST IS TWO YEARS OLD. THE CARD IT MENTIONS IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE TO BE OPENED.

PLEASE STOP REPLYING TO A TWO YEAR OLD POST WONDERING WHY YOU CAN NOT FIND THIS SPECIFIC CARD/DEAL ANYMORE.

Chase Slate is only 15 months but 0% balance transfer fee.

The slate itself sucks as a card to actually use for anything other than the BT, but if you're mainly concerned about the BT, and the 3 extra months won't kill you, it saves you 3% of however much you're transferring over this... plus once you're done with the BT you can product change it into a genuinely useful card like a Freedom or something.
After years of being on airline miles cards I switched to this card. I am very happy with it. Airline miles are worth an average of 1.3 cents per dollar spent these days. This card is worth 2 cents per dollar to me as a shopper. It takes VERY little effort to redeem the 2% cash back. I enjoy the value and simplicity of this card. I find the citi web site and mobile app to be stronger than alternative bank sites and apps. I don't have the time or desire to manage multiple cards.

Which cards have free balance transfer and 0 apr? None of mine have the option.
This article about that seems to be regularly updated: https://www.cnbc.com/select/best-no-fee-balance-transfer-credit-cards/
Slim pickings now. Maybe the American Express Everday Card [americanexpress.com].

You're right about it being best for BT but the issue is low low credit limit even for people with great credit score like in the 750 or even denied even though score is in the 700s just so people are aware. That being said, give it a shot if anyone really needs it.

Dumb questions, please verified!
I spent around $30k in each month to buy the good, but my credit limit is only $10k. I have to pay $10k before the statement, so those $20k will not get me points?

Just received the offer for BT from Chase (Slate) - 3% transfer fee for first 60 days, and then it's $6 or 5% of amount transferred if done after 60 days.

I am not sure if this is one of those "YMMV" offers, so please confirm before proceeding. I would stick with CITI as they give you 3 more months (18) and have better rewards to continue using the card.

You don't need an 800 FICO score but your credit does need to be good. I'd say anything above 720 will get you this card.

It's a good card. This is my "everything else" card. Whatever card doesn't give me more than 2% cash back I use this one for that. I've had it for years, made a few hundred dollars buying stuff I needed to buy anyway.

Why is this card constantly pushed at the top when it offers ZERO benefits. I ditched it when I found out after a trip that they had just removed travel protection, theft protections, price protections, everything. Better off getting a 1.5% card with all those benefits than the extra 0.5%

Commissions. SD leaves it to the consumer to figure out whether a product they are promoting is actually good or not.
