Always need to consider the transfer fee for balances transfers, and should be included in this post.

"There is a balance transfer fee of either $5 or 3% of the amount of each transfer, whichever is greater."
EDIT FROM MAY 2021-- THIS POST IS TWO YEARS OLD. THE CARD IT MENTIONS IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE TO BE OPENED.

PLEASE STOP REPLYING TO A TWO YEAR OLD POST WONDERING WHY YOU CAN NOT FIND THIS SPECIFIC CARD/DEAL ANYMORE.

(above added after like the 6th person in a year necroed this discussion to reply to this post- original post from 2019 below)

Chase Slate is only 15 months but 0% balance transfer fee.

The slate itself sucks as a card to actually use for anything other than the BT, but if you're mainly concerned about the BT, and the 3 extra months won't kill you, it saves you 3% of however much you're transferring over this... plus once you're done with the BT you can product change it into a genuinely useful card like a Freedom or something.
After years of being on airline miles cards I switched to this card. I am very happy with it. Airline miles are worth an average of 1.3 cents per dollar spent these days. This card is worth 2 cents per dollar to me as a shopper. It takes VERY little effort to redeem the 2% cash back. I enjoy the value and simplicity of this card. I find the citi web site and mobile app to be stronger than alternative bank sites and apps. I don't have the time or desire to manage multiple cards.

You're lucky.
But that was not the question at hand. I get those blank check cash advance mailers which I never use. I'd prefer not to have those sent to me, in case they were to fall into the wrong hands.
In the past, I met the same issues as the poster who complained, for my other cards that do this also.

No matter how many times I called to ask them to stop sending them and all the lip service saying they would stop, they just continued. I eventually gave up.

Since YOU brought it up as a preference option I was hoping there really were opt-out options for Citi junk mail as you claimed. Sadly, you appear to be mistaken.

Again..... over and over and over...at one point, there was an opt-out. I have no idea about today since I haven't had the need to look for it since I don't receive those any more. I can't tell you why you do... But I can tell you that when I did many years ago, they never bothered me. Life's too short to be on a forum complaining about junk mail...

Bottom line, we all know now that your flippant advice is not applicable these days. You should have stayed out of it if you have a problem with someone complaining or just told them it was irrelevant. My opinion is this is a thread about the card, so it is an issue that is nice to be made aware of, especially now that you realize it cannot be dealt with using simple preference checklists.

My experience is as relevant as yours. You don't like the card? Get another one and move on...

I git this card and overall experience beginning from application process was the absolute worst experience i ever had. I have 12 credit cards including chase, bank of america, barclys and several small bank and credit unions.
It might sound like a great card but citi bank customer service, the line they give and everything is just awful. Just go for a different card

On paper the card seems really nice. But then I read 90% of the reviews are like yours. I recently got a discover rewards card. And apart from having issues getting myself verified with a licensed notary to prove that I existed lol it's been fine. And maybe waiting a couple minutes for customer service a couple days. To hear so many people describe the issues with citi and going on wild goose chases with customer service, yikes. No thanks.

Anyone experience the new point structure this month? Noticed that points are posting late or sometime after statement closing. TBD

Points posted but site access to points is down.

I was able (in theory only) to send cash to my bank but the cash to CC function was broke. Won't know for a few days if it actually worked.

I will not have a good feeling about all of this until the paint dries. 3rd time they have changed stuff, and in the past it was always for the worse.

Thus us my-to-go card.
The only thing -if you bought any electronics with it, there is no more additional warranty!

I'm not having any issues with the new point system, but I may not be the best case. I don't renew immediately— usually on an "as-needed" basis (ie: I'm making a big purchase, better use all my points to feel better about it). Since points don't appreciate, I don't let them sit too long though.

What I am noticing is that Capital One now has 5-8% back on purchases directly from a lot of vendors. You have to use their referral links and it's a little inconvenient, but it's hard to beat.
