Ring Doorbell 2: $79.99 ($10 higher than 11/4/2019 deal)
Ring Video Doorbell Original 720p; $49.99 NLA

Hope this helps someone but wanted to be upfront about the pricing being $10 higher than the last time I posted it. I commented on the WOOT forums in hopes they will drop the price back to it's original Front Page deal.

Don't kill the messenger, but the Door Bell 2 is $10 higher than it was 48 hours ago. Not sure if this will be the new standard price from Woot on this, but I can only hope they price adjust this back down to the original $69.99.

If people go to the WOOT forum post here: https://forums.woot.com/t/ring-vi...lls/487301 and complain, Woot has been known to change the price and refund everyone who purchased it.

Good luck SD!

I am waiting to buy the doorbell pro. A camera without 1080p will be useless.

it requires battery, which is another downside. The doorbell size is bigger

Does this mean it can go where there isn't a doorbell installed already?

The ring 2 can be hardwired.

You're misinformed twice.

It is 1080p and can run on battery or hard wire. So all your concerns are already met. Hope you enjoy your purchase.

Is the ring 2 worth getting if you're solely using Google products ie pixel , nest and home minis? I need a battery only doorbell and this seems the best I can get but I'm wondering what I'll be losing without using Alexa. Does it at least ring with a plug in add on?

For sure. 720p? Is that a dog at the door or a person? Is it a mob of zombies or a box from Amazon? Imagine not being able to see every last pore on the face of someone at the door. Oh, the horrors of only 720p on a massive 5" screen! "useless" Rolleyes2

Installed the Ring2 for the wife, but the delay sucks the usefulness outta the unit (unless someone is genuinely waiting for a door response).

Anything better?
