A lot of comments about the motherboard not having information from both cyberpower and asrock. Saying it's hard or not possible to update the bios.
specs per a post on reddit:

CPU: OEM AMD RYZEN 7 3700X

Cooler: CyberPowerPC MasterLiquid Lite 120MM ARGB (apparently Cooler Master OEM rebrand)

Motherboard: ASRock B550AM GAMING mATX (apparently OEM rebranded B450)

RAM: Crucial Ballistix 8GB DDR4-3000 (timings unknown, XMP enabled unknown)

GPU: PowerColor Navi AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB

Storage1: 240GB WD Green SSD 2.5"

Storage2: 2TB Seagate HDD 3.5" 7200RPM

PSU: ATNG 800 WATT 80 PLUS GOLD
Kevin from the CyberPowerPC test lab here. I'd like to clarify the PCIe support on this system.

PCIe Gen 4 support on the B550AM Gaming motherboard is through the processor. The Ryzen 7 3700X CPU in the CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme Gaming Desktop (SLC7200BST) will enable Gen 4 speeds on both the primary PCIe x16 and M.2 slots. Here's a screenshot with some quick Gigabyte AORUS PCIe Gen 4 SSD benchmark results.

The drivers, manual, and latest BIOS updates for this board can be found in the CyberPowerPC forum, driver site, or requested through our tech team.

It's an early release that system integrators received for the new AMD parts.

Someone help me out, please. I was about to build what I thought would be a similar level PC with my son, but as I price it out, it looks like this is possibly a better deal, with a better CPU. I am admittedly new at this, so feel free to talk me out of buying this instead of building: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/kWVcq3 I can do it a little cheaper than the link, but not much..thanks.

This will be a better deal for you. The only thing you are missing out on is a bigger SSD. Otherwise it is a better processor, liquid cooling, and of course... Cheaper!

The only thing I can think of that is inherently bad about this deal is the reference and blower style card for the GPU. If it was one of the partner boards like the sapphire pulse or the gigabyte model it would be better off. Other than this machine possibly being a little heat monster it seems okay.

Im like you. Though i built computers in the 90s i wouldnt know what to do now without a good amount of research and stress. I would buy this and return it if theres issues

3700x and 5700xt and they even put 16gb 3000mhz memory. you cant do much better than that especially at $1050

3700x is like 9900k and 5700xt is between 2070 super and 2080 according to cpu and gpu user benchmark

Anyone have experience with the Geek Squad accident plan? Been thinking about a retail prebuilt specifically to take advantage of 0% financing and some sort of extended coverage.

Buy now, think later! Snagged one for myself... I was going to build but this seems pretty much turnkey.

no, it's not. it's cheaper, but I'd go overpowered for $100 more or this for $150 more. I just don't like the 1600 series though.
