Wow, this is a nice surprise. We have wanted to try MSC but we hate cruising out of Miami.

Oh crud, what I was afraid of. An older ship. I will still do some research. Thanks!

free certificate from DRI (Diamond Resorts International) will price this inside cabin $0.00 for two persons on privilegesredemptioncenter.com

Still paying port fees (I don't know the way to reduce those), but only on top of $0.00 tickets; not on top of $299 tickets. Goodness gracious special

Isn't this the timeshare crap they sell you on?!

For us, we drive down for cruises. Miami is so far south.

if u know no better. But I enlightened u that a website other than msc.com sells same product for $0.00 (which is saving of $299x2=$598 saving), once u have a certificate. So all u need is to procure the certificate. DRI gifts the certificates. If their locations are too far from u, procure it second-hand. Certificates are fully transferable

they sell you absolutely nothing; but they do feed you for 2hrs - so why would you care. You shouldn't attend unless for cruise certificate PLUS cash. Like $100 plus. Covers your 2hrs at $50/hr. Of course, if you're silly enough to attend 2 hrs for less total compensation - then you're also silly enough to buy $299 tickets from MSC website

To some... I'm sorry, MOST people, these "light" timeshare sitdowns are a waste of human time. The "they sell you absolutely nothing" comment is pure BS. People just go google these things will find out. The OP's post has it at 299 which isn't bad at all. Thanks OP.

Thanks OP for the topic, but why would you insist on keeping "some/most" at the level of your own inferiority. I just explained: there are TWO WAYS of knocking this SAME ticket down $598: {attend}, OR {don't attend and procure in secondary market}. Why pay $598 to one party, when you can shop for a certificate (what is it, $100-200 whatever the case may be) and then pay $0 to second party. You end up with same tickets. But of course: that flies right over the head of a slickdealer: what do you mean to NOT just whip out your credit card and pay 'the price", are you nuts? The price is stated by the seller - pay up!!

The last thing I want you to do is go to a presentation. Just learn how to travel on certificates rather than on retail cash purchase

How do I go about getting one of these "free" certificates? The website you mentioned above requires a certificate to log on which I don't have?.

either buy it on secondary market, or sit thru 2hrs of DRI nonsense (which is not too bad, cuz they feed you and pay you $50/hr, in addition to cruise certificate)
