Walmart just launched a Dell 14" i3 (10th Gen) 4gb 128gb Laptop. This is the lowest priced i3 10th gen in the market. It is available in most Walmart Supercenters. It is only available for a limited time.

I just got this for a general use machine a few hours ago after seeing it on an end display. Considered returning it unopened after I found out that 4 GB ram is supposed to be the max, but I decided to go ahead and keep it, even after seeing all the thumbs down. I've not done a lot with it, but mine has an i5-1035G4. So far I have disliked having to sign into the Microsoft store to switch it out of S mode, and for some reason the Dell Support Assist is not compatible with the system. I'm thinking about trying Ubuntu out on it.
There's another thread on this. Likely the best laptop deal this season as I also received an i5-1035G7 10th gen although the box was labelled i3. It is the fastest i5 currently made, rivals some i7s, and benchmarks twice the speed as 10th gen i3s.
Two memory slots, one open so you can upgrade. This is current 3000 series 3x93 model (supports PCIe 3 x 4 SSD), not last year's 3x83 model which were the i3 and i5 Black Friday BestBuy doorbusters which only supported 3x2 SSD. Add some memory and replace the SSD with a 256GB Samsung Evo 970 Plus (fastest SSD made today) for $46 from BestBuy, throw in an internal HDD for extra storage, and you'll have an extremely fast machine for under $325. That's what I did.
Many stores are out of stock, so you may have to hunt around to find one.

Any recommendations for memory? Did you add 256GB SSD along with 128GB it came with? I will be receiving mine today, so just want to know what all we can do.
