Yes it does, there's two slots available, one taken up by the 4gb.

I recommend you guys get the cl15 kits if you're playing games, helps with minimum fps alot. ~5-15% only $20 more.

for 9th gen intel mobile cpu, they go up to 2666mhz, in this bracket, the lowest latency memory is CL 15 which is faster than CL16 or CL19.

The only set in this bracket with CL 15 is the Kingston set, it was on sale recently 2x8gb for $67.

But even now, it's not expensive, there's no reason to wait just to save $5 on something like this

It's actually 10th gen, i5-1035G4, up to 3200mhz if you want to spend the money. I'm not sure about prices of RAM (seems like decent deal as is), me personally, I'll just be throwing in another cheap 4GB since this won't be my primary laptop. Not sure how I feel about spending $100+ on a nice set of RAM to put into a supposedly budget laptop. Really up to you on how you will be using it.

my mistake, yea same idea though, look for the low lat memory for the fastest speed supported.

ALTHOUGH, maybe not do that for that particular laptop, i thought he was buying it from something else.

It'd be a waste to put faster ram in an office oriented machine.
