I just realized the tax implementation. It makes it harder now to justify using eBay
Looks like the individual item must be $50 or more. Multiple items in my cart which was over $50 only received the normal 1%, crap!
doesn't Texas now require that ebay collect sales tax as well? i found this quote:



This isn't ebay collecting it. It's your state government that is requiring that ebay collects it.

Nice now I can almost break even on the 10.25% sales tax that started in October for Kalifornia. That's even for overseas orders. Anyone have a clue how they get to 10.25%? The State is 7.25%, add in county and local and I'm at 7.75%

Won an auction yesterday but the bucks remained 1% in the cart. When did they changed this? In the past, what mattered was the time you make the payment.
