I wonder how much these components would cost if I bought everything separately and built it myself?
I've been doing custom builds for years and it's never been about getting it for less or "cheaper". I enjoy it because it gives me the flexibility to pick & choose quality components that I like & trust - rather than letting the OEM decide for me. If you're an inexperienced PC builder or you're not fussy about the components inside the rig, I recommend that you go with this prebuilt system. For $1300 + tax it's an excellent deal.

The biggest cost here being the $500 video card, $300 gfx card and $200 mobo. Thats $1000 so factor in the rest you're looking at $1400 probably, that's retail though and you may be able to find deals on separate components.
Talk about comparing apples to oranges. The RTX 2070 card is indeed ~$500 but $300 gfx card? What are you smoking? You do realize that this configuration only has 1 discrete video card - right? Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Yes, I don't know why. I would hope more people would jump on it, but understand that HP and other big brands are widely known. People may scare off the fact that it is Micro Center's House Brand, however, I did end up purchasing it and I am very happy with the setup.

I had posted this on r/buildapcsales yesterday and someone did build one on partpicker similar to the config for this PC:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mV4L27

The only missing piece is the Windows license.

However, I did talk to MC and they said the RAM in this is Goldkey(?) and has an Intel SSD. Still thinking that I may be better off building it.
I just reserved mine now after seeing your post of this deal on that reddit on the 12th. Some jerk in your thread tried to post a "better build for less" with a better Motherboard, SSD hard drive, RAM, and 4th part, but the deal at Microcenter also includes Liquid Cooling (a feature I want, which even lower end models like the first version of the Corsair H100i is $100), Windows 10 Pro included ($145 for a legit key), the free Battlefield game $60 value, plus the labor of the desktop already having been put together and 1 year of labor/warranty from Microcenter included.

So the guy who posted the "better build" that came out around $1275 with better Motherboard/SSD/RAM/Power Supply doesn't include the at least $100 liquid cooling (some posts think the liquid cooling is a Cooler Master line one), $145 for Windows 10 Pro, $60 for the included game, and of course the free labor and 1 year warranty/labor pack. The first 3 would increase his cost from $1275 to $1680 + labor.

And I'm getting mine with 0% interest via the Microcenter Card over 6 months. So excited to pick it up this weekend. Replacing my current budget PC from 2013.

The specs on this PC are higher than what I was shooting for, but going for it since the deal is good for me. And, when i pick it up this weekend, the 15 Day return policy lands the day AFTER Black Friday (or 2 days if I decide to pick it up Sunday), meaning if some other super monstrous deal within my budget target does appear on Black Friday, I can still return this product in that time frame.

Hey man, sorry missed your comment earlier. I am still trying to decide, didn't know it came with liquid cooling. I have tried different deals but nothing comes close to beating this price. Also, the open box ones are compelling me to just buy one of those and upgrade the RAM. How do you like it so far?

I think many of us aren't near a Microcenter so we can't take advantage of a deal like this. Wish they allowed online orders that could be shipped... =(

Anyone know how to get the free games w/ AMD products? I bought a similar system on Newegg and it was a digital code, but I don't see anything similar here. I'm thinking about returning the newegg system for this one.

Just got the system. Microcenter gives you the code for Xbox game pass and a free game on the printed receipt. You'll need to activate them with the system.

Free games or xbox pass still offered. I bought the open box slightly used version for $200 cheaper. Will be testing the desktop out in the coming days.

Having never bought a prebuilt, I assume the individual parts do not have the same manufacturer warranty that they would had i built custom?

This is a great deal. You get EXACTLY what you would pay if you would build this from scratch yourself.
