"When, and if, it launches its 5G network on December 6th, T-Mobile will offer a new $15 per month prepaid 5G plan to customers. The plan will include a 2GB per month data allowance, in addition to unlimited talk and text. At $15, the plan is half the price of T-Mobile's current cheapest plan. For $25 per month, customers can upgrade to a plan with 5GB of monthly data. Additionally, T-Mobile says it will add 500MB of data to both plans every year for up to five years." - Engadget

For more Data, the rep that I spoke with said that 6GB will cost $25 and there will be a 10GB plan (if I remember correctly for $30).

I have this issue... I can't seem to let go of my t-mo 6 gig rollover plan, 4 lines for $100, plus I've got 2 free tablet lines from the free tablet promotion a few years ago. So basically 6 lines for $100, with more than enough data that I ever need. How can I give up free lines?

I'd rather they work on their home Internet 5G so I can kick my current cable company ISP to the curb.

Why would you need to? To me personally 5 G means absolutely nothing I'm happy with data speeds of LTE and as long as price is good I would stick to what I have rather than running after things that "might" be better(plan change, phone upgrade, be guinea pig for testing reliability and performance of new network speeds, etc,)

5G won't mean shit since only 1 or 2 phones that JUST came out can use it? Most phones can't even access 5G yet.... still I guess its a decent price but only 2GB of data is pretty slim

Does not belong in Hot Deals. It's conjecture.

Basically, all you need is 4G LTE with Verizon like coverage and you're set. Wishful thinking.

5G is great and all but that 2GB is a joke. You get all this fast speed but can only use very little internet. Like getting a Ferrari and driving in the streets of New York City (25MPH). I rather they focus on home internet

So this is only 5g? So you can't use an older phone and just use it like the old $30 5gig plan. Seems odd

T-Mobile would be better served to expand current 4G coverage and fill in the many holes in their coverage network. I live in the SF Bay Area, and there are many places where TM has spotty or no coverage. Sad!

Yes and no, 2GB on google fi at 4G is going to cost you closer to $50 or so after taxes and fees. It's a killer deal in comparison, but I get what you're saying about having the speed along with a data cap.
