I stumbled upon this deal by looking through a deal from a year ago for v4 and an old code is still working. Not sure if this will drop again on Black Friday.

I'm also interested in an answer to this question.

When I looked at it a few weeks ago the users were reporting a lot of bugs in the early release of v5. I know the developer is responsive and the license will be good for a couple of years, but I've got 2 licenses to upgrade and want to make sure the new features are worth the upgrade.

if you have licence for 4, you can purchase a year of Extended Service for $29.95 which allows you to upgrade to 5.

What if you have version 3?

I have version 3 and it supports onvif, so I would find it hard to believe they would remove such a useful feature.

Although the developer makes more money buying direct through him, all 3rd party sellers are selling you a legitimate product key and you DL straight from the developers website. There is no difference.

My experience 3 years ago was ispy wasn't as easy to setup. I wasn't really able to set it up just right, always either too sensitive or too non-. The UI was also chunky. Blue Iris was miles better back then.

Is this a one year license, or a regular license with one year tech support?
I can't find if it's a subscription or not.

$49.49 total... I'll bite, i doubt it'll be a whole lot cheaper. Maybe an extra $5 if anything but I'd rather lock it in now than forget later.
