At this price it is the cheapest superauto on the market! This is not a refurb, it's the latest and the most feature packed entry level superauto out there.
The Carina 1200 grinds, brews, and froths—all in a compact coffee package.
Panarello Steam Wand - This auto-frothing wand makes the foam for you, while still giving you control over temperature and texture.
Programmable Drinks - Each drink button can be preset to your favorite recipe, and changed on the fly with handy dose and volume buttons.
AquaClean Equipped - Add Philip's smart-sensing water filter to track usage—letting you go up to 5000 cups without the need to descale.
Front Loading Water Tank - Oft-overlooked, the Carina's 1.8L slide out water reservoir is refillable without having to move your machine.
Bean Hopper - The Carina's 10-ounce bean hopper offers ample shots between refills.
Ceramic Burrs - Supposedly capable of 20,000 grinds before needing to be replaced
Bypass Port - For Pre-Ground Coffee
2 Year Limited Warranty

Question: What is the difference between this machine (Philips Saeco Carina) and the Saeco 3200? They seem very similar Abram F on Oct 9, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The Carina (1200) does not have the chrome bezel, and it is missing 2 buttons: Americano & Espresso Lungo. I bought the 3200 and am thinking now I would have been fine with the Carina since I don't see myself ever making an Americano of Lungo, though I don't regret my purchase at all -- I just have 2 extra buttons.

Just bought the Philips 3200 without lattego. I signed up for their email list and got a 10% off one item coupon. It came out to $449.10 before tax.
