This is about the lowest it is been in a while. I think it is the holiday price. I own this whole set along with other packout pieces if anyone had any questions.

How do you use these? Are you a contractor?
I find myself putting exactly what I need for each job in a lighter bag but I'm more a heavy DIYer than contractor. I have most of the M18 tools and they are great, just not sure what makes this system so good. Do you store your tools in here too?

I work in low voltage. I go inside construction sites and run wire and wire panels. I use tons of tools, screws, conduit, etc. The packouts make a one time into jobsite trip.
I started with some cheap Home Depot screw organizers and they were broken in a month. While I am paying a ton more for the packout series it is extremely durable and is great organization.
What does that even mean? Are you afraid people will judge you if you pull yellow shit out of a red box?
Sorry I wasn't clear— I edited my original post.
Dewalt has their own version of these, which is what I own (I prefer them over the ones that came with my Bosch). I don't imagine they attach to each other. Since I use primarily Bosch and Milwaukee tools, I guess that would be me being afraid of someone seeing me pulling blue and red stuff out of a red box, as opposed to me currently pulling blue and red stuff out of a black box with yellow highlights.

That makes a lot more sense. At least you dont have yellow tools.
Got one in store as an early Black Friday deal, as well as the Milwaukee PACKOUT 11-Compartment Low-Profile Small Parts Organizer (usually $39, now $29.88).
Was waiting for the Rigid because I didn't really need the top-tier Packout, but it hasn't shown up in any ads (previously on sale for Labor Day).
A clearance option for people who just want a rolling toolbox but not the world's most built box, is the Stanley essential 19" 3-in-1 detachable mobile toolbox. It is $30.27 on HD.com with free shipping (#STST18631). I didn't go with that because it didn't have a lid for the bottom box. It is, however, $170 cheaper.
Just saw the HD BF ad and the packout kit is $199 so not going lower. There have been better deals at a couple of sites so keep shopping around and don't hold out for a HD deal.

I'm a tile contractor. Big box is for mixing drill, grinders, 12g chords, proknee knee pads, bigger mallet, ac adapters.
Medium box for the many small tools needed, and the small box is just an extra to keep it more organized. They are great, bags are just too messy

Edit: into the Dewalt "Toughsystem" line of tool cases.
