The string trimmer features a brushless DigiPro motor and 14" cut path w/ a 0.080 bump feed head. It can run up to 55 minutes on a single charge w/ a 4Ah battery. The top mount motor head is detachable and compatible with most gas attachments to provide multiple use.

My gas powered piece just conked out on me, been looking to pick up a new one, electric is a plus.

Have this it works great for what it is. Not nearly as powerful as a basic ryobi gas powered but does the job for most things. Really notice the power difference using my metal blade attachment

Attachment capable is a plus, but the 40V platform is underpowered, especially if you want to add tools like a mower, chainsaw etc. I have several GW 80V tools and they perform well. By the time you add the cost of a battery & charger, not a hot deal. If you are already into the GW 40V platform, not a bad deal.
