Costco In-Store Offer: T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy: Note10+ $620, 128GB S10 Expired

Sharing first hand experience --

- If you are already a postpaid TMo customer, you do NOT need to add a new line or change your plan. Mine was Simple Choice Family Unlimited with multiple lines

- You can buy this phone for this discounted price and get it activated to work with your existing Tmobile SIM and number. They will attach the phone to the current Tmo number -- but they can optionally leave the SIM inside the box unactivated -- so you can put your existing SIM in it later whenver you want to switch phones. (Do newer SIM cards offer anything better? Should I have gotten the new SIM activated instead? I dont know this but no big deal)

- You need to be either the primary account holder or authorized user on the Tmobile account to buy this . You also obviously need to be a costco member. Adding authorized user is apparently pretty simple -- the primary holder needs to call 611.

- Strangely they also need the last 4 digits of the primary account holder's SSN to open the account. So if you are not the primary account holder but only an authorized user then you will need to call the primary holder on phone to get them to share the 4 digits

- Sales tax is on discounted price, yay! NJ sales tax is 6.625%. Here are the totals --

- Central NJ. There was a line of 8-10 people at the kiosk on Friday at lunch time. 3 associates were helping customers. Took about 45 minutes - 1 hour. Wait time + Processing time.



I was new to all this so I hope this helps someone like me.

- You can update your number instead of your husband's.
- They will give you new phone with your number transported to new sim card.
- Remove the new sim card and put it in your old phone.
- On Christmas give new phone as gift to your husband and he can insert his old sim card in this phone.

You just need to activate the new phone on that line. And no upgrade fee in Costco... Enjoy!!!
