Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Anyone get a photo yet of the actual signage at a local Costco?
Haven't been to costco but maybe this would help?

Is the iphone 6 eligible for $500? Could anyone confirm it, thanks
no. Starts at 6s, which is still quite generous.

So what would be the net cost of a iPhone 11 after doing a iPhone 7 trade and canceling line after getting gift card? What would be my service charges in total? Would I be paying for 40 days of service and I can cancel on day 41 assuming I get the gift card by then? Anyone can breakdown the final cost if opening new account and purchasing 1 phone?
Do the math:

Service charges are available on t-mobile.com, as are the prices of the phones. In-store price at Costco is usually $50 less than MSRP, though I think they've also been doing 10% off instead lately?

Chances are you'll pay two, maybe three months service before getting the rebate.

one hard pull by tmobile, any way to avoid the pull? security deposit?
What exact impact are you concerned with a single hard pull causing you? Are you buying a house or car in the next few weeks?

It's better if you get the 7. About $30 more on swappa for $200 return.

Do we have to trade in at the time of purchase or go through T-Mobile's website?

Just about any question you might want to know is already answered in the prior thread: https://slickdeals.net/f/13502233-costco-warehouse-purchase-iphone-11-xr-xs-tmo-trade-in-new-line-get-up-to-580-back-via-one-time-bill-credit-prepaid-card?v=1

Trade in is by mail.

Thanks. I just went straight to the link and didn't read OP. Anyone know where this info is coming from? Just curious, since the flyer image says 6s but OP mentions possibly plain 6. And, I'd like to get rid of my 6s and hold onto my 7, but it's moot unless my dad's one 55+ plan allows for a fourth line.

Can someone break this down for me, sorry to beat a dead horse? I have two Iphone XS's that I have about $450-500 left on the payoffs. Now, for me, this trade in wouldn't make sense. So I was thinking of buying used Iphone 6s off facebook marketplace and then trying to get costco to accept them as trade.

If I do that, does anyone know the potential net value of it? How much do they give for the trade in, what remains on the gift card, and is it worth it? I am just trying to get a discount on the damn Iphone 11 Pro.
What they pay you for your iPhone 6s is irrelevant but you should trade-in an iPhone 7 since you would get more money for it and the price difference between an iPhone 6s and 7 is only like $30-40. You will get $700 TOTAL regardless of how much they give you for your iPhone 7. Let's say your iPhone 7 is worth $40 to them, you would get $660 in a rebate card or let's say your iPhone 7 is worth $699 to them, you would get $1 in a rebate card. Expect to get $40-70 for the iPhone 7 depending on the condition.

that's the nature of phone carriers,or most companies, these days: no rewards for loyalty. fortunately many carriers offer the same or similar deals which allow you switch carriers but keep your number.
Not just that, most of the time they offer these crazy deals when their rates already went up. There is no way they would give me a free phone when I am already paying 30% less than new customers or when I pay about same but have other perks. They always do that, I rather pay a lot less per month than buy expensive phones for cheap.

So phones are free, pretty much paying monthly plan until you get rebate card. Pay off phone and it will be unlocked?

How long does it take to get rebate card?

Why no deals on outright purchases? Just give me a little discount, I don't want BOGO but give me like 20% off.

Because this isn't your local mom-and-pop shop.

Anyone know if I can buy a phone from a prepaid service like Totalwireless and trade that in? Does it matter that the phone would be locked to that service?
