Is this a good deal? I've been looking for a vitamix and I don't need any fancy features, just a solid, reliable blender that I'll be able to use and can do what a vitamix does.

It's a reliable blender with good add ons. Just the 20oz cups with adapter on Vitamix site are being sold for $129 making it a decent deal. I would refrain from saying it's one of the best deals but definitely a worthy one, considering its brand new and Costco's return policy.

This has been $350-$399 all year. Pretty good price drop for this one and all the other costco perks that comes along like others here mentioned.

I haven't returned it for fun. The earlier Vitamix had issues with auto detecting the containers. When i called in Vitamix they recommended this, for faster service and lesser down time. All i did was instead of straight swap i paid more to get an upgraded machine. I don't see why it was an abuse of Costco's return policy

Last time it was 275. It's only $24 more with additional jar. You don't know if you will get 275 again so I will say the deal is worth.
