Can someone please explain this "calling in" method of purchase?
900f is 2018 picture quality is very bright in hdr high quality content has little back light bleed but thats normal for its panel, little delay when using the remote and apps. has annoying speaker connect to aftermarket speakers always switching off and on when turning the tv on. you cannot disable this.
70r has very nice quality brightness and has very fast app usage, not as bright when playing hdr quality as the 900f.
overall get the 70r its 2019 model and isnt as outdated as the 900f. i got it on greentoe for about 1580 for a 75'' last week. you could probably do better now or a week from now.

Sony 900f vs Samsung Q70R (Costco comes with 7 ur warranty ) ..
Which one to pick.?
I know rtings rate both of them equal .. anyone experience with both the tv ?
Those of you with 900f knowledge:
1. Are the blacks "ashy" in a dark room or do they still look good?
2. What's this I hear about the Dolby vision being too dark? Can I play the movie without it activated?
3. How's the gaming?
4. Is 75" too big? A major YouTube reviewer says stay away because it blows everything up too big and distorts.... But I'm at 17' viewing distance...so I need 75.
Thanks.

I can answer #4. Definitely not too big at 17'. I watch many YouTube videos at 10' with a 111" projector screen. Looks just fine.
