Why the TD? This was getting thumbs up a few days ago with the $243 deal lol. I'm in the market for Mesh WiFi and Orbi seems to be one of the higher rated ones.

Can this be add to RBR50? I have 2 RBS satellite paired with my RBR50. It will be great if I can add this satellite to my current setup.

The router is AC3000 and Orbi Voice is AC2200.

I've got a 2,000 sq ft home with a 2,000 sq ft basement. Would I be better off going with this or the rbk50

I spoke with Netgear regarding this very issue. Each modem can have a maximum of 3 satellites. Good luck!

This unity should satisfy your needs.
I recommend buying/installing and testing it out. If it doesn't work, return it to Costco and purchase the 3 Orbi mesh system for $300.
Good luck

Bought one set on Amazon for $249 couple of days ago. Going to return it and get this Costco deal instead. Solid router + satellite combo for my multi story house. It's a breeze to setup and has neat mobile management app.

This set is good for me since the router has 3 Ethernet outlets for my wired devices. If you don't have many wired devices or don't mind getting a switch / repurpose your old router, go for the Eero Pro + 2 beacons.

hang on just a minute. If the satellite is an ac2200 device, wouldn't the router default to that speed? I was in the market for an orbi and read that you can mix and match different speed satellites, but that the router would default to the lowest satellite speed to make it compatible.

Hey just setup an rbk50 in my 3 story townhouse (2,100 sq ft). The router is in the basement (laundry room) and I put the satellite one floor above it. Although it says to spread them out, I did this temporarily just to test.

Works perfectly. I'm getting 200mbps on the third floor on my phone using ookla.
