Yes, it was much cheaper last year. Apparently they increased the price so much this year, so this deal is still cheaper than normal retail price for this year.

The way I look at these repair tools (or any tools): The more electronic devices I can repair with these toolkits, the more money I save from buying new ones, the more payback I can get from these tools.

So it's still relatively cheap if you know how much money you'll save from repairing something.
