Is this okay for complete beginners/noobs? I would be willing to practice an hour or two a day for a year if it paid off afterwords.

Yes, this definitely helps you get into top companies. I like the collection of programming interview questions on leetcode.

yes its okay for noobs and yes, 1 to 2 hours a day for a year is probably the right timeframe for getting the knowledge needed. Just know that the first few months you will be googling/youtubing a lot of the stuff and itll feel like you are not using leetcode at all.... but eventually you will see the light. Also, this a lone wont get you the job. You also need interview practice. Which means take the interview on site and fail and then come back once or twice. Note that some places like google only let you interview on site once a year. So Id recommend study for 3 months.. get on site interviews wherver you can. Fail them. Study one year. Get multiple onsite interviews and hopefully pass one.

I got this deal last year and then never used it.... until the last month. And then used it like hell for the next 3 weeks. Got into one big company and hopefully into an even bigger company (waiting for the interview result, wish me luck)!
Leet code and its community is indispensable if you want to clear the coding challenges at the big companies.
If I hadn't been a slick dealer I wouldn't have bothered buying a subscription. So glad I did!
