TL;DR this is a device that, when paired with the Billows fan, can maintain a set temperature on a BBQ/smoker very accurately and can be controlled via a smartphone app. It's like cheat mode for long cooks (brisket, pork butts, turkeys) etc.

One last thing, if you do buy this with the Billows fan, you may need an adapter to mount the fan to your grill/smoker. For example this $6 set of mounting plates that works with Kamodo grills. https://www.thermoworks.com/TX-1607X-M1

This is a great price on a quality thermoworks product. By itself, it's a pretty expensive remote thermometer. But add the Bellows and a comparable Flameboss or Fireboard will be ~$300.

Yeah, I'm kinda surprised this got no traction, especially with so many people apparently buying the Kamodo Joe in that other thread, this would be a perfect controller for it. Would even enable fast lighting and getting up to temp without overshooting and also overcome the issues with the older top vent style.

How does the signal compared to fireboard? I own a fireboard and have issues with their ambient probe.
