This thing is great for people that need a simple yet effective remote. I bought one for my mother/step dad last Christmas. They had no problems using it (after I set it up).

I have two that work fine. Occasionally the receiver I have connected to my TV doesn't correctly control the audio so that the built in TV volume buttons on the Roku remote won't work. But I programmed the buttons on the sideclick to control the receiver volume instead so it is always controllable. The extra buttons help too. Set one for mute and the A/B buttons to toggle between a few inputs on the receiver.

Got this a while back to control my soundbar (the only IR device in the chain), easy setup, works good, takes a bit getting used to and it's pretty slippery.

In for 1 for Amazon Fire TV. If it works it'll keep me from having to grab 3 remotes when watching FireTV.

This thing is great. Got rid of 2 remotes with it.

Used to have to use one to turn on the TV, one to turn on the receiver, and then the Fire TV remote.

Now just have the Fire remote with the Sideclick.

The face two remotes at each other so it can record button presses seems like wizardry.
