The mapping is fantastic, very impressed there. Virtual walls and no-go zones working well. Its picking up a lot of pet hair, which is great. Its had no issues going up from hard flooring to medium pile carpet at all.

But if you are willing to wait, the next generation of robovacs should be coming. Improved tech like good emptying bins, better mopping, more advanced object detection are all in the works (and available in some kind of not quite mature forms in more expensive models from other brands like iRobot, Deebot, Kickstarter/Igg projects).
I don't think we are far off from decent auto-emptying combos at this price in the near future. I'm guessing Roborocks just isn't interested in adding it yet, because they're getting much better response and reviews from better navigation.
