Do you watch a lot of 4k HDR content? Do you notice the great picture on the OLED TVs in the store when walking by? Do you watch modern movie vs old shows?
If you answer yes to these than the 6 series is worth the extra money. It really is a better picture.
But if you just watch tv, cable, dish etc and want a solid picture in a good TV then the 4 or 5 series is absolutely fine. The picture is good as long as you are not critical. The 6 series is just a step above in picture quality, moving from low end to mid pack.
Just don't worry, low end picture quality today is still pretty dam good.
Personally I own a 55" and 65" 6 series and could not be happier. I recommend the TCL TVs to anyone.

Actually I disagree. Series 6 had way better contrast and colors. Picture is cleaner and tv is faster. I got the 6 series a while ago and I love it! The 4 series is a good starter 4k tv and this IS a good deal if you dont have the $ to get the 6.
Why do some people have to ask the same question? If money is no issue, buy the 6 series.
Actually do you want to just drive or enjoy the ride? Same with a tv...do you want to have it turn on and play or see the difference?

I owned a 4 series and that's more of a Daewoo than Toyota.
