This lathe goes on sale several times a year for this price. I think the better buy is the jet that's on Amazon unless you absolutely need the bigger size. 450 as the slowest speed can be quite hard to do off center stuff or certain finishes.

OOS, sadly, anyone know if they'll honor it still when they get more?

This actually has a slower speed than the slowest speed on the Jet JWL-1015, and is a Variable speed. I passed on yesterday's JWL-1015 deal, but this one might get me...

Lathe deals make me happy, just seeing them, thanks for posting!
