These are business class machines and painfully expensive - even moreso direct from the manf.

Today I bought the same model with the same specs except for I7 processor, I bought it with I5 processor for $649.99. It seems to me a pretty good deal with specs sheets. Along with that Costco provides 2 years warranty and free technical support which is huge compared to Lenovo's basic support or extra price for extended warranty. I wish they had the option to select OS, I would prefer Win Pro over Home.
Huh same model? You mean same form factor.. IMO you can't compare 10th Gen 7 to 5. Additional 200 bucks is worth it.
I didn't see much difference between i7 & i5 with given model numbers.
both are the same 14nm chips, with 4 cores.. i7 has base clock at 1.8 & max out to 4.9Ghz whereas i5 has base clock at 1.6 and max out to 4.2Ghz
and with 16GB RAM I was convinced to go with i5 which fits in my budget.
