So, after reading more reviews, it seems like this makes your washer spits out the things it can't digest. If your washer spits more dirt, it means you have to clean it up and use another tablet. I used this before (and frequently) so I never see my washers getting that dirty, a little bit of lint here and there or mushy part, but mostly it does it jobs well. No smelly or even fragrance scent noted after the cleaning cycle.

I've tried the dishwasher ones without any issues, so I'll give this one a go too.

Do these actually work? I just run bleach through the washer every so often.

Same here. I would think bleach is probably the best thing to run to do a tub clean

No way. Just use regular detergent. My LG has a clean out port and a drain rubber hose and a plastic basket. When you open it up you'll need to physically clean the hunk out. No afresh tablets only this work will help you. There is a reason why we need to follow the manufacture instructions

Buyer beware. Ordered 3 six-packs of the dishwasher cleaner a few months ago. Since I wanted to reduce clutter, I opened them all to put them in a single bag and noticed two of the "six"-packs contained five tablets. My review on Amazon recounting my experience and suggesting people count them was deleted as somehow inconsistent with review policy. Inconsistent with ripoff strategy, I say. Nobody would notice using them one at a time that they've been shorted by 15% of the product. You get to the last one and you say to yourself, "Did I use six or only five?" The question is whether you feel lucky, punk. Well do ya? No, you tell yourself, you must have run through the first five and now you're loading that final tablet with a little voice asking "Is this six, or only five?"

No accident that two of the three bags were shorted and that the review advising others was deleted.

Count the contents! Amazon is ripping you off.
