How does these compare to the klipsch reference set from costco for about 400$? That one has a sub though and this doesnt.

I haven't heard that set in person so I can't give you an answer from experience, but I would bet the Jamo set will give you a lot more sound especially in the lower end. The drivers in the Klipsch set are only 3.5" compared to the 5.5" drivers for the 803 Jamo and 4" for the center and rears. The 803's have some serious bass for a bookshelf and sound great for movies but even better for music. I'am being kind of picky here but I'am not impressed with Klipsch subs, love there speakers but the subs are a bit boomy and loose for me(not good for music). Pair this Jamo set with the SVS sb-nsd(on sale for $399.99) and I guarantee you it blows the Klipsch set out of the water for only $200 more.

I bought this set last year at 399.99. At 200 it's an absolute steal but the center channel is their smaller one just a heads up.

Unfortunately the price has gone back up for the white 5.0, black is still $199.99. The 803s are back to regular price.

Undecided between the 5.0 here or voting one of the adorama Klipsch deals? Granted adoramas are way more expensive at 700$ per set and these have better design ... too bad white is gone
