The CPU upgrade from 3700x to 3900x is worth about $300 and the upgrade from a nameless 2080 super to an Asus ROG 2080ti is about $450 (or $300 for a nameless cheap 2080ti) but this also lacks the water cooling which isn't a big loss because the wraith cooler on stock 3700x is good. So pretty much on par or maybe just barely slightly not as good. Still cheaper than you can build it though part for part.

How do you compare dollar value vs yesterday's Chronos w/ 3900X, 2080ti, 3600 ddr4, 1tb m.2, for $2200 plus tax? This is about $1480 plus tax

The 3900x and 2080ti is already at 1700. That deal was overkill and will likely last for many many year. This is good for gaming

It's tough for company to make profits in prebuilt when they know people rather built themselves to save money. Now quality prebuilt are coming closer or cheaper than handbuilts

They both seems to use top of the line parts and components are listed in spec:

Asus X570 TUF - very highly rated motherboard
RTX 2080 Super (no brand listed so I assume it's non OC)
G.SKill 3600 16G Trident Z RGB Neo - not cheap memories
1TB SSD - I assume is standard SSD

pcpp shows exact similar part comes out to be $1517.93 with $40 MIR and without OS.

$1700? It was about $2100 before tax.

EDIT- I thought you were talking about the sale on the sky tech system yesterday. My bad!

Wish it would list what brand the 2080 super is, my problem with prebuilts is noise. I have no way of telling if the case/fans are going to sound like a tornado or not. I hate loud cases/noises when I'm on a computer, the fan noise just bugs the hell out of me. Not so much while gaming of course since you're using speakers/headphones anyways but while I'm doing regular office work for hours I don't want to hear fans roaring the whole time.

I guess the only way to truly know you're getting an almost silent machine is to build it yourself with all water cooling and a special noise insulating case. This case looks cool with all the fans and lights but the glass panels don't instill much confidence in me for containing the fan noise.

This deal looks luke warm compared with the 2080ti version yesterday. This can be built yourself around the same price and possibly with a better model GPU. The 2080ti build yesterday was actually selling for several hundred less than piecing it together yourself.

Still good if someone was wanting these specs and didn't want to build themselves.
