what makes you think this is genuine Samsonite? Any private seller could have selected "Samsonite" as an ebay seller name. The only way to confirm is to match the seller's exact address to that of a Samsonite office/depot.

I think a seller rating of 24,225 is a pretty good indicator of legitamacy. eBay themselves is also saying this is direct from Samsonite.
