Hey Griz...

I have used power tools for over 50 years. I have used all sorts of brand names...Ridgid, Ryobi, DeWalt, Bosch, Milwaukee, etc. I have developed my personal preferences for the various brands, depending upon which tool I use.

I have often used rechargeable power tools 8 hours per day. So I know a little about tools.

Now, I ONLY purchase Ridgid tools. The reason is so simply...Life time warranty. No other vendor offers this life time service agreement. Years ago I found an incredible deal on a Dewalt combo pack . Each of the 5 tools still works perfect to this day! But here is the catch...over the last 15+ years or so, I have had to purchase the batteries over and over again. The combo kit only cost me $499. But purchasing 6+ batteries over the years set me back more than the actual kit costs!

Ridgid replaces either the tool or the battery for absolutely free.

In the last 5 years, I have gone through 4 Ridgid batteries and two of their awesome lights. Each time Ridgid sent me free brand new batteries and new tools and they also paid the shipping.

NO VENDOR ON THE MARKET TODAY HAS SUCH A FREE REPLACEMENT WARRANTY!

I still do not understand why so many people can't see this.

For me, it is a total no-brainer.

Anyway, hope this helps!

Stop trolling, dude wants serious advice and you come with that nonsense.
Both made by TTI. Rigid is a step up from Ryobi. For TTI brands it goes Milwaukee > Rigid > Ryobi.

No difference. They are identical but the tool came out before the octane batteries were released so they couldn't label the tools that way.

Thank you so much. I've been looking for an impact wrench for a while now and this set is a very good value.

If you use the impact wrench with the OCTANE batteries you get the full potential. 485ft/lb on and 620ft/lb breakaway torque

Have the impact wrench, driver, and drill. All great tools. Not Milwaukee quality but almost on that level for a fraction of the cost. Been using them all a lot and very satisfied.

Damn that Impact Wrench has some serious specs compared to other offerings around the same price. I wish there was more versatility to this package and not a drill, impact driver, and impact wrench. Still, great price!
