What the difference in v1 ? I seen is same
That said, I actually ordered a V860II the other day for $120, but I'm returning it to get this instead now that this has such a nice price on it. Compared to that one, this has a much better display, much better UI for controlling slaves, and is compatible with the magnetic round attachments without any adapter. Absolutely worth the extra $40 imho. I only wish I could have gotten this as an add-on bundle to the XPLOR 400PRO I got recently. If you bundle this with any of the eVOLV or XPLOR lights it takes an extra $50 off the price (though you have to give up on other bundling options for those bigger lights which may wind up being a bigger discount, such as with the https://www.adorama.com/fplfev200...yID

The third benefit comes when using grids. By attaching a grid, we restrict the direction that our flash beam is able to travel in. The round shape of the V1's beam offers the ability to create spotlight-style lighting just like a studio strobe with a reflector and grid would...
The first downside is that the head is not able to zoom quite so much as a regular speedlight...
The second downside is that the shape of the head means it won't fit many speedlight specific modifiers
