Walmart has Arcade1UP 4' Classic Arcade Machines (Street Fighter 2) on sale for $199.99. Shipping is free, otherwise select free store pickup where available. Thanks RickyK and Eli01
I bought this from Walmart a couple weeks ago at $230 (doh!) plus the standard Arcade1UP Riser. I frickin' love it. It looks incredibly cool and feels pretty solid for just 60 pounds. The games play great. I don't feel any noticeable input lag. I can do all the combos from back in the day.
A few cons: The screen leaves a little to be desired and the pixelation is kind of crap because of the lack of filtering or scanline simulation. There are no LCD picture controls (brightness, contrast, etc.) There's some digital noise in the speaker that you hear when the game is set to silent. Otherwise the game sounds drown it out and you don't notice it. The LCD plexiglass overlay had some scuffs on it so Arcade1UP shipped me a replacement LCD assembly that will arrive next week. They shipped it out within 24 hours of me filing the support ticket. Otherwise all the parts of my cabinet look great.
I switched out the joystick springs and changed the joystick restrictor plate to the octagonal type. There are plenty of YT vids that describe this. Cheap and pretty easy upgrades.
There are tons of people documenting mods to these - things like joystick and button swaps, volume controls, monitor swaps, brightness control, Raspberry Pi upgrades, etc.
If you're on the fence, and you have space for one of these, $200 is a serious deal. For those interested, Costco sold a special bundle for a while that appeared to have an upgraded LCD and came with some other bonus things. Other places like Target, Kohls, and Best Buy are all selling a combo of this machine plus a custom MK riser for $400 or more. I don't know if the machine in those models is identical to the Walmart one or if it ships with a nicer LCD like the Costco kit.
I used to own a full-size arcade machine that I installed MK, MKII, and Ultimate MK3 arcade PCBs in. This Arcade1UP cabinet has all the fun with a lot less hassle
Never call, just go to the store if it's close enough. More often than not the employee noticed how cheap it is and purchases it themself.

Ive been eyeing the arcade 1 up for a couple weeks and noticed that as of this week they are all down by 50 to 100 depending on the title, so not just the mortal kombat one. I want the teenage mutant ninja turtle one and it's at 350 with the riser

TMNT is as low as $100 to $250 in some stores. Checkout Brickseek

I was thinking the same. Don't remember where but I saw a good video on using a raspberry pi and converting it to a emulator
