Been waiting for this deal to come back. It comes on every couple months but think this is the lowest I have seen. I already have the floorstanding speakers and surround speakers that sound incredible. Just ordered the center channel and 12" subwoofer.

The JBL 5 series everyone loves came out in 2011, with the 530s for ~$550. They get discounted to $300 and people still, in 2019, go ape over them.
The Infinity R162 came out in 2015, use technology from $1000+ Revel speakers for $500, built specifically to be the halo product of the Infinity line.... Barely anyone talks when they get put on sub $200 pricing! WTF.
The JBL's people still act like they are these giant slayers when they get put on sale and yet no ever talks about these. These are EASILY at leeassttt on par with the JBL 530s (different sound signature so it's all personal preference of course). I believe I've read some on reddit that consider them better.
Don't sleep on these speakers. If you are even thinking about it just realize it uses the same tweeter waveguide as verrrryyy expensive Revel speakers. Harmon owns both Infinity and Revel so I guess for the Infinity's top of the line they strapped that on it. Just remember these came out much later than the JBLs and at the same price bracket as the JBLs so yes, they ARE very comparable in performance.

I was hoping to just pick up a sub, since mine won't power on anymore, but all my speakers are hooked up to my sub. Clearly this wouldn't just be a drop-in replacement.

It sounds like you have one of those "home theater in a box"systems that the subwoofer serves also as the amplifier to your other speakers. You would need an a/v receiver and run your speaker wiring to it

Agreed! Especially when these sales go on at Harman audio. I bought the RC263 for $318 from a 3rd party seller on Amazon Friday disappointed no BF deals on Infinity and saw this after midnight. Cancelled my order on Amazon and jumped on this!

No problem! Yeah, sorry, one of my first times posting and did from my note 10 half asleep. Wouldn't even let me upload the pics
Wondering if I should return them and go with this deal
I went with the 152's myself and I'm happy with them
